Commander Mac Cain, in charge of 86th US infantry division, has been a bit of a shithead lately. He insulted the capability of the british army, insinuating that we are extremly poorly armed and trained. He said we are "dead weight" and we can't succeed at any offensive manouever.

Our commander thus challenger Mac Cain to a duel. The BAOR and the US 86th infantry will face each other during an exercice. We are to assault a series of position held by the american and make them eat their words.

SITREP

This is a "Training" exercice, we are to attack and capture entrenched american position

We are to take the town of Hanstedt and then procede to sweep and clear the woods north of town.

The town is held a reinforced company of american infantry. They had time to dig in so expect a fierce fight The woods are also held by a company of infantry. they setup in two location. these being an old WW2 bunker complex and an artillery position.

The exercice is to emphasise infantry tactics. Only a limited amount of APCs are allowed to be present in the AO. We can deploy 3xAPC and a 3xmortar carrier, The american have declared that they will use no more than 8xM113

Objectives

• Take the town of Hanstedt and it's southen hamlet
• Defend from a US counter-attack
• Head into the wood north of town and clear it of all US presence

SPECIAL NOTES

• Mortar section will be issued 3x germans M113 mortar carrier. you need GlobMob to crew them. If you don't own the dlc, Podnos 80mm mortar are available as replacement
• Your APC have lots of ammo in them, keep them close to the frontline and they will keep you feed.
